Elective surgeries are back in NYC and Long Island! The efforts made over the past few months in our region have been successful in “flattening the curve” and elective surgeries are now permitted.
Dr. Ackerman operates in outpatient Ambulatory Surgery Centers which were not utilized to treat Covid-19 patients and have been operating under strict protocols to ensure the safety of our patients and staff. All patients must undergo a Covid-19 test within 72 hours of surgery and are not permitted in the building until official negative tests results have been received. In addition to many other precautions we are taking, all patients and staff must wear a face mask.
